01. How much does a flagstone or paver patio cost?

It depends on size, material (flagstone, bluestone, or pavers), site access, and what the base needs. 02. Pavers or poured concrete — which should I get?

We build in natural stone and architectural pavers, not poured or stamped concrete. Stone and pavers don’t crack down the middle the way slabs do, individual stones can be reset if the earth ever moves, and they’re the surfaces that belong with a high-end landscape. If you want a poured concrete slab, we’re honestly not the right crew — and we’ll tell you that on the phone.

03. Why do patios sink and shift?

Water and a shortcut base. Almost every wavy, sunken patio was laid on dirt with no drainage plan. We grade and drain first, then build an engineered compacted base — we’re Birmingham’s yard drainage crew, and we build patios like it. That’s what lets us put 20 years behind ours.

04. Can you replace my cracked concrete patio?

Yes — that’s one of our most common projects. The old slab comes out, the base gets built right, and flagstone, bluestone, or pavers go down in its place. The Site & Base Report covers demo and haul-away in the quote.
